Therapy can be a powerful opportunity for support, growth and change, and I am honored that you are considering me to join you in that process. My practice is one that acknowledges and builds on your strengths while providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to work toward your goals. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches drawn from psychodynamic theory, Rogerian therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.
The benefits of therapy are well-documented and can include enhanced self-esteem, relief from anxiety and depression, improved relationships and attainment of other personal goals. You may also as part of therapy experience uncomfortable feelings including sadness, anger, anxiety and guilt. Often, these feelings are a natural and necessary part of making progress; my goal is to help support you as we work together to understand and hold them with compassion.
Individual therapy sessions typically run 50 minutes.
