Psychotherapy

Therapy can be a powerful opportunity for support, growth and change, and we are honored that you are considering us to join you in that process. This practice is one that acknowledges and builds on your strengths while providing a safe, nonjudgmental space to work toward your goals. We utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches drawn from psychodynamic theory, Rogerian/person-centered therapy, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy.

The benefits of therapy are well-documented and can include enhanced self-esteem, relief from anxiety and depression, improved relationships and attainment of other personal goals. You may also as part of therapy experience uncomfortable feelings including sadness, anger, anxiety and guilt. Often, these feelings are a natural and necessary part of making progress; our goal is to help support you as we work together to understand and hold them with compassion.

Sessions typically run 50 minutes.
